When asked to describe the work that I do as a consultant, the tasks that most often come to mind are project management, facilitation, and planning. That means that I do the work necessary to keep initiatives and projects on track and make them successful for your organization - sometimes in the background, and sometimes in front of a room full of people. I love supporting new and exciting projects, and welcome the opportunity to work with a diverse set of organizations, which preference toward those who are working for the common good.
At heart, I am an educator. I like to help people and organizations learn and develop to their full potential. I have spent more than 15 years in the higher education and nonprofit field, and have facilitated challenging and exciting organizational change in both of those settings.
I am also a mother, entrepreneur, homesteader, and freelance writer. I bring all of those experiences to the table as a consultant.
